Museum of Science and Industry

You are here:

As part of Kids In Museums Takeover Day, The Friars Primary School from Salford are taking over the museum on Saturday 18 November to celebrate all things Salfordian.

Families can follow a specially designed trail around the museum, design paper gilders inspired by the Avro air company, and get up close to objects from our collection chosen by The Friars kids.

Plus there's more family fun with our Robots-inspired Explainer show, Human vs Machine and our textile machinery and engine demonstrations.

Share your day with us on Twitter and Instagram using #takeoverday.
