Join us at the next STEM Networking Live, our regular teacher/STEM Ambassador networking event. This is a tried and tested format that has proved incredibly valuable to all who attend.

Chat to STEM Ambassadors working in a wide range of STEM careers to discover how their jobs connect to your classroom learning. Find out about different career pathways, keep up-to-date with the latest STEM developments, and meet Ambassadors and other STEM resource providers who can engage with your pupils.

Teacher comments from our last event:

  • "As usual, brilliant—helpful, made new contacts and rekindled old ones—will be using [when] organising events."
  • "Loved the positive feel within the room."
  • "[I discovered] the array of STEM Ambassadors local to our school and willing to help out kids and the team!"
  • "[I discovered] the enthusiasm of the teachers and STEM Ambassadors, how they can interact and support each other."

Our next event: Year of Engineering

Monday 29 January 2018

2018 will be the Year of Engineering—how will you and your school get involved?

This event will help you get inspired by all the resources available, from engineering-themed classroom activities and STEM club projects to our fantastic STEM Ambassadors, who can support teachers by providing you, pupils and parents with activities and information related to their own job roles and career pathways.

This event is open to primary, secondary and FE college teachers. Discover the ESA Space Materials Case, used in hundreds of primary schools across the UK as part of the ESERO-UK Tim Peake Primary Project, or receive training on the new resource box for secondary schools from the Royal Academy of Engineering.

We will also launch our new Primary Guide to STEM Ambassadors, setting out how primary schools can incorporate STEM Ambassadors into classroom learning using a selection of simple, short activities. Then visit stands run by STEM resource providers and network with STEM Ambassadors, who can showcase the huge variety of different engineering careers and pathways.

A buffet will also be provided. Book your free place now.
