Museum of Science and Industry

Teacher events

You are here:

The Museum of Science and Industry hosts a variety of events just for teachers, from previews of our Schools Programme to after-hours events.

Teacher Tasters for Primary Teachers

At a Teacher Taster morning, you can have all the fun of a school trip before bringing your class along. Meet our Explainers, watch a preview of our shows and see our historic machinery in action. This event is open to all primary school teachers, but is ideal for newly qualified and recently qualified teachers who would like to know more about the Learning programme at the Museum of Science and Industry.

Our next event will be announced soon. Please check back for details.

Museum Teacher Lates – KS3

Our Museum Teacher Lates are exclusive, after-hours meet-ups for KS3 teachers here at the Museum of Science and Industry. They are free to attend—there’ll be pizza and beer, and a chance to meet our learning team who co-ordinate and deliver the educational programme at the museum.

Our next event will be announced soon. Please check back for details.

STEM Networking Live

Join us each term for our popular networking twilight events for teachers/group leaders and STEM Ambassadors. Meet and chat to our STEM Ambassadors to find out how they can enhance your curricular and extra-curricular STEM activities, and provide you with new insight into STEM careers. Discover new resources that are available to you and meet other like-minded STEM teachers and professionals to share best practice in inspiring the next generation in STEM subjects.

Our next event will be announced soon. Please check back for details.
